Ms. Willie Mae Timms, age 92 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017. She was born on February 15, 1925 in Cherokee County, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe McGatha & Nellie Garner McGatha; husband, Thomas "T.H." Timms; daughters, Ruby Lee Timms, Linda Carter; sons, Clifford Timms, James Timms; sisters, Annie Griffin, Nellie Mae Hollister; brothers, J.C. McGatha, Bud McGatha, Ollie McGatha, Joe McGatha, Mack McGatha, Oliver McGatha; and companion, Roy Wiggins.

Ms. Timms is survived by her daughters, Faye Crawford, Lorene Washburn, Arlene Godfrey, Darlene Johnson; son, Donald Timms; sister, Pearlie Mae Brigance; and over 100 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Timms will be conducted on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at two o'clock in the afternoon at the Felton Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Shoemaker officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Baptist Church Cemetery in Felton, Georgia.

The family of Ms Timms will receive family and friends on Monday May 29th and Tuesday May 30th at the family residence located at 2370 Tallapoosa Highway, Cedartown, Georgia.

Brad Truett, Dooley Welchel, Jim Welchel, Wayne Welchel, "Pee Wee" Welchel, and Lee "Lil Man" Dunn will serve as Pallbearers. The Honorary Pallbearers are Ronald Carter, Jeff Timms, Tommy Kelly, Matt Smith, Danny Timms, and Gene Reed.
