Mr. William "Willie" Burton Short, age 54 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019. He was born on December 19, 1964 in Cedartown, Georgia. He was the son of the late Roy Eugene and Betty Ann Davis Short.

Mr. Short is survived by his daughter, Crystal Williams (Wesley); son, Brandon Short (Kristina); and grandchildren, William Short, Hayden Short, Bryant Williams, Jacob Short, Jase Williams and Kylee Williams.

Mr. Short is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gene Short.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. William "Willie" Burton Short will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Wormy Wiseman officiating.  Interment will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Short will receive family and friends on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Clifton Daniel, Brad Short, Scott Wheeler, Marty Short, Brian Wheeler and Chris Wiseman, Jr.  Honorary pallbearers will be Coty Short, Pete Phillips and Neil Short.
