Mrs. Willie Ruth Glass Bailey, age 75, of Alabama, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2016. She was born on May 1, 1941 in Borden Springs, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Jack Glass and Polly Ann Kline Glass.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by her husband, James E. Fortenberry; children, Billy Wayne Buttram (Kay) and Wanda Gail Rhinehart (Nevin); siblings, Jerry Wayne Glass, Larry Glass and Wanda Haney; grandchildren, Mickey Buttram, Matthew Messick, Raven Rhinehart and Cristen Robinson and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bailey is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jenny Rose Glass; brother, Jackiey Barry Glass and grandchildren, Johnny K. Robinson and Randall Scott Messick.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Bailey will be conducted on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at six o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Williams and Rev. Ronnie Kirkpatrick officiating. The body will be cremated after the service.

The family of Mrs. Bailey will receive family and friends on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from four o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family has requested flowers be omitted and donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
