Mr. William Michael Snead, age 54 of Cedartown, formerly of Rome, Georgia, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2009. He was born March 29, 1954 in Floyd County. Michael grew up in the Dykes Creek Community where he attended both Johnson and Model Schools. He was employed at Sara Lee Bakery in Rome, Georgia.

Mr. Snead is survived by a loving wife, Terry Bell Snead; son, Jeremy Snead; stepdaughter & spouse; Tammy & Matthew Fielder; sister, Diane Beard; brother & sister – in- law, Gary & Cathy Snead. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Davita King and Avery Fielder, and a Special Nephew Jimmy & Candace Beard

Mr. Snead is preceded in death by parents, James W. Snead & Margie Alexander Snead; son, Jason Michael Snead; and brothers, Stanley and Travis Snead.

The funeral service for Mr. William Michael Snead will be conducted on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Branton officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 2, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Honorary Pallbearers are Steve Quick, Wayne Quick, Ken Quick, Govan Alexander, Rick Alexander, Jimmy Beard, and Matthew Fielder.
