Mr. William Calvin Prince, age 80, of Cedartown, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010. He was born November 13, 1929 in Bluffton, Alabama, the son of William Floyd Prince and Grace Peek Prince (both deceased).
Mr. Prince was a United States Army veteran serving during the Korean War.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Hubert Prince; sister, Helen Dee Prince.
Mr. Prince is survived by wife of forty-three years, Sandra Howard Prince; children and their spouses, William Eugene Prince (Connie), LaCrista Prince Ferrell (Bill), David Prince (Jennifer), Cindy Prince Rudeseal (Mike); grandchildren, Trystan Ferrell, Jake Rudeseal, Hayden Prince, Grace Prince, and Anna Prince. Also surviving are sister and brother-in-law, Adlene Prince Dobson and Joe, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Mr. William Calvin Prince will be conducted on Sunday, March 28th, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Leon Allen officiating. The interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 27th, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Mike Rudeseal, Eddie Prince, Brian Haney, Jimmy Turner, Shalon Turner, and Steve Arrington.
