Mr. William Thomas Phillips, age 86, of Cedartown, passed away on October 5, 2014. He was born on July 30, 1926 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the son of the late William Phillips and Thelma Wright Phillips.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his daughter, Vickie Patterson; son, Steve Phillips; step-sons, Danny Phillips, Todd Phillips and Brian Phillips; five grandchildren, Brian Meadows, Sarah Meadows, Tiffany Jones, Eric Phillips and Ivan Phillips and two great-grandchildren, Cole Patterson and Silas Meadows.

Mr. Phillips is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marlyn Philps Phillips and grandson, Michael Patterson.

In keeping with his wishes' he was cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
