Mr. William E. "Bill" Lee, Sr., age 79, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021.  He was born on April 25, 1942 in Fulton County, Georgia.  He was the son of the late Louie and Mary Mansell Lee.

Mr. Lee graduated Campbell High School in Smyrna, Georgia in 1962.  He worked at Lockheed from 1962 until his retirement in 2000.

Mr. Lee is survived by his son, Billy Lee (Kontessa); sister, Wansely Proctor; grandchildren, Austin Lee, Cason Lee, Britany Hert (Jesse), Ridge Blackwell (McCall), and Baye Blackwell; great-granddaughter, Addie Hert; niece, Deana Jennings; nephews, Brian Stephens, Billy Stephens, and Bruce Stephens; and last but not least his dog "Bear", his best friend.

Mr. Lee is preceded in death by his parents, and son, Michael Jeremy Lee.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. William E. Lee, Sr. will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Pope officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pine Bower Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Lee will receive family and friends on Sunday, September 5, 2021 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Donald Pittman, Austin Lee, Cason Lee, Brian Stephens, Billy Stephens, and Larry Welchel, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Neil Corn, Larry Welchel, Sr., and Bennie Brown.
