Mr. William Charles Lee, Age 58, of Cedartown, passed away, Saturday, June 25, 2005. He was born on June 7, 1947 in Polk County to the late Gladys Odom Lee and Ed Lee.

Mr. Lee is a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Lockheed in Marietta Georgia. He was also a member of the Meyerhardt Masonic Lodge of Kennesaw Georgia.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Janis Welchel Lee;
Daughters and Son-in-law, Gina Ashworth and Mark & Shelli Brackett and Scott Allen. Mr. Lee is also survived by 5 grandchildren Lee Ashworth, Marika Ashworth, Dylan Brackett, Devan Brackett, and Cierra Allen. Mr. Lee's surviving family members also include:
a Brother & Sister-in-law Ken & Greer Moody, his Mother-in-law Lorene Welchel, a Nephew Dr. Ryan Moody, an Uncle C.W. Lee, and his Aunts Clara Welchel, Lurla Sanders, Mary Carnes, Sara Redding, and several cousins.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 27th from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The funeral service for Mr. William Charles Lee will be conducted in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday June, 28th at 2:00pm with the Rev. Robert Boatner officiating. Mr. Lee will lie in state for 1 hour before the service. Interment will follow at Northview Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Mike Crowe, Bobby Harper, Warren Lee, Lewis Welchel, and Miles Crowe.
