Mr. William Ira Cash, age 77, of Cedartown passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007. He was born September 13, 1929 in Polk County to parents Wilburn Ira Cash and Mary A. Eaves Cash.
Mr. Cash was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Hale Manufacturing.
Mr. William Ira Cash is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Wanda Elizabeth Cash, son, Jerry Wayne Cash and brother, Frederick Hamilton Cash.
He is survived by wife, Charlotte R. Redden Cash, daughter, Shelia Dixon, sons, William Randy Cash and Jimmy Phillip Cash, and sister, Dorothy Ayers. Eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren also survive.
The funeral service for Mr. William Ira Cash will be conducted Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jerome Smith and Rev. Jeff Hulsey officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery with full military rites being conducted by the Brewster-Cleveland American Legion Post #86 Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 18, from 7:00 until 9:00 at the Gammage Funeral Home.
