Mr. W.C. "Pud" Willingham, age 76, of Cedartown passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2006. He was born on April 27, 1930 in Cullman, Alabama.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George Monroe Willingham, Sr. and Ora Albritten Willingham and brother, Rev. George Monroe Willingham, Jr.
He is survived by wife, Dorothy "Dot" Youngblood Willingham, daughters and sons-in-law, Diane Willingham McClure and Tom McClure and Missy Willingham Lundy and Tony Lundy; son and daughter-in-law, David and Lynn Partain Willingham and sister and brother-in-law, Bernice Willingham Lester and Howard Lester. Also surviving are grandchildren, Lacey Bramlett Tuck and Andy Tuck, Adam Willingham and Monica Morgan Willingham, Amber Bramlett Coker and D.J. Coker, Davina Willingham Cupp and Wayne Cupp and Anna Lundy and great grandchildren, Emma Tuck, Dylan Cupp and Morgan Willingham and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, August 11th at 2:00p.m. at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Tucker, Rev. Earl Partain, Sr. and Rev. Randy Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery. Mr. Willingham will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral service.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 10th from 6:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at Gammage Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Adam Willingham, Wayne Cupp, Andy Tuck, Jimmy McKibben, Greg Swafford and Steve Baldwin. Honorary Pallbearers are the surviving founding members of Faith Baptist Church, Herschel Wright, Leo Cuzzort, Albert Wells, Monroe Johnson and Homer Stephens.
