Mr. Wayne Reed Maiden, Sr. age 65, of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. He was born on July 22, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of the late Reed "Chief" and Katherine Elizabeth Hampton Maiden.

Mr. Maiden is survived by his daughter, Allyson Deems; sons, Wayne Reed Maiden, II. (Angela), Tyler Maiden and Dillon Maiden; grandchildren, Hayley, Lauren, Andrew, Reed, Chloe, Kail, Jenna, McKenna and Brantley and great-grandchildren, Mallori, Derrick and Camden.

In keeping with Mr. Maiden's wishes' he was cremated. A memorial service for Mr. Wayne Reed Maiden, Sr. will be conducted on Friday, September 2, 2016 at seven o'clock in the evening in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Powers officiating.

The family of Mr. Maiden will receive family and friends on Friday, September 2, 2016 from five o'clock in the evening until the memorial service hour at the funeral home.

The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted and memorial donations can be made to the Harbin Cancer Center, 255 W. 5th Street, Rome, GA 30165.
