Mr. Warren Harding McClure, age 88, of Cedartown passed away on Friday, June 4, 2010. He was born July 8, 1921 in Norwalk, Ohio.
He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Charles W. McClure and Katryn Persbacker McClure; wife, Barbara Cass McClure; sister, Lela K. McClure; brother, Herbert C. McClure, and grandson, Keith McClure.
Mr. McClure is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Richard C and Joyce McClure, James W. and Deborah McClure, William H. and Teresa McClure, and Thomas R. and Dianne McClure.; ten grandchildren; and twenty great grandchildren.
The graveside and interment service for Mr. Warren Harding McClure will be conducted on Thursday June 10, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at Polk Memory Gardens with Rev. Danny Tucker and Rev. Dave Grove officiating. Brewster Cleveland American Legion Post #86 Honor Guard will conduct full Military Rites and Caledonia Masonic Lodge #121 and the West Georgia Masonic Memorial Club will conduct Masonic Funeral Rites.
Chris McClure, Charles Tripp, and Johnny Youngblood will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations may be made to Children's Home Fund, c/o Caledonia Lodge #121, P. O. Box 1094, Cedartown, GA 30125.
