Ms. Wanda Lean Hurley, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2011. She was born on October 22, 1945 in Polk County; she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Dwight and Helen Herstine Sargent Hurley.

Ms. Hurley is survived by daughters, Tammy Harris, Terrie Lara and Shannon Quiahua; sisters, Sandra Shell, Jacquline Ledbetter and Angie Blalock; brother, Anthony Hurley; grandchildren, Bryon Christie Jr., Daniel Christie, Adreanna Lara, Miguel Lara and Nicholas Quiahua Harris and six great-grandchildren.

Ms. Hurley is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen Barber; brother, Ray Hurley and three nephews, Russell Barber, John Blalock and Jim Miller.

The funeral for Ms. Hurley will be conducted on Friday, April 8, 2011 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Trawick officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sanders cemetery.

The family of Ms. Hurley will receive friends on Thursday, April 7, 2011 from six o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home. The family will also receive family and friends at 623 West Avenue, Cedartown.

The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers; Terry Crawford, Michael Burns, Lee Cain, Cody Eaves, Johnny Parris and Juan Cruz.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Morris and Derrick Payton.
