Mr. W.J. "Red" Hulsey, age 69, of Cedartown passed away Sunday, October 30, 2005. He was born on March 22, 1936 in Haralson County. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Hulsey is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Hulsey; parents, Elec Hulsey and Mae Carroll Harrell; brothers, J. W. Hulsey and Hubert Tony Hulsey; and a sister, Opal Marable.
He is survived by daughers, Vickie Benson and Sandra Floyd; sons, Ricky Hulsey and Johnny Hulsey; sister Elaine Burnett; grandchildren, Ian Benson-Christie, Autumn Camp, Roy and Ashley Riley, Tiffany Floyd, Michelle Hulsey, Chad Hulsey, Kayti Hulsey and Will Hulsey.
The funeral service for Mr. W.J. "Red" Hulsey will be conducted on Wednesday, November 2nd at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. R.B. Hulsey and Rev. Gary Parris officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery with full military rites being conducted by the Brewster-Cleveland Post #86 Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 1st from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Gammage Funeral Home.
Pallbearers: Scotty Tillery, Brian McGee, Phillip Hindmon, Austin Greeson, Ken Parrott, Wayne Hulsey, Mike Bullington and Douglas Burnett.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Benjamin Lindsey; Larry Bryan; Karl Lindsey and Jeff Hulsey.
