Mrs. Virginia Cosby Shedd, age 83, of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009. She was born in Cedartown, Georgia on November 14, 1926.

Mrs. Shedd is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Cosby and Mae Simmons Cosby; daughter, Sandra Gail Ingram.

She is survived by her sister, Lillian McCamy; grand daughters, Candella Owens and Deon Ingram, grandson, Richard Turner; great grand daughters, Taylor Turner and Casandra Owens; and a great grandson, Nathen Owens.

The graveside funeral service will be conducted on Monday, December 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hope Cemetery with Rev. James Rosser officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 14, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.
