Mrs. Virginia Lee Nichols Mullinax, age 85, of 409 Chestnut St., Cedartown, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2006. She was born in Polk County on October 21, 1920. Mrs. Virginia Mullinax was a member of Anna Kresge Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a retired employee of Wal-Mart.

Mrs. Mullinax is preceded in death by husband, Preston Mullinax; parents, Henry Grady Nichols and Katie Mae York Nichols; great granddaughter, Jessica Angel; brothers, Henry Nichols, Tommy Nichols, Charles Nichols, and Don Nichols.

Mrs. Mullinax is survived by daughter, Marilyn Mobbs of Cedartown; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Angel and Wayne Angel of Cave Spring, Susan O'Neal and Danny O'Neal of Cedartown; son and daughter-in-law, Don Mullinax and Cindy Mullinax of Rainbow City, AL; sister, Becky Rhinehart; brother, Jackie Nichols. Twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren also survive.

The service for Mrs. Virginia Lee Nichols Mullinax will be conducted on Saturday, March 25th at 2:00 PM at Anna Kresge Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Giglio and Mr. Eric McGee officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 24th from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Gammage Funeral Home. At other times the family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Susan O'Neal, at 291 Adams Rd., Cedartown.

Pallbearers are John Angel, Pat O'Neal, Jason O'Neal, Phil Bedford, Clay Mobbs and Drew Mullinax. Honorary Pallbearers are Phillip Broome, Justin Angel, Eric McGee, Hayden Marlowe, and Hunter Marlowe.

Flowers are omitted however contributions may be made to Anna Kresge Memorial United Methodist Church Building Fund.
