Mrs. Virginia Malee Guffin Zell, age 92 of Wichita, Kansas, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016. She was born March 13, 1924 in Pittsburg, Kansas. She was the daughter of the late William Earl and Bessie Isabelle LeGrande Guffin.

Mrs. Zell is survived by her daughter, Julie Zell Brack; sons, Jack Bell and Jerry Bell; sisters, Charisse Yates, Nellie Ratke and Sandy Beskow; brothers, Walter Guffin and David Guffin and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Zell is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald E. Zell; sister, Bonnie Erickson and brothers, Bill Guffin and Robert Guffin.

The arrangements for Mrs. Zell will be conducted on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Friendly Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Vines officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral service hour at the church.

The family of Mrs. Zell will receive family and friends on Friday, September 30, 2016 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jack Bell, Jerry Bell, Giovani Garcia, Jamez Bell, Fabian Cordova, James Bell and Anthony Vann.
