Ms. Violet Moncrief Brock, age 90 of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013. She was born on June 11, 1922 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Isaac Moncrief and Rosa Davis Moncrief.

Ms. Brock is survived by her sons, David Brock and Jimmy Brock (Christi); daughter, Gloria Barnett; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Ms. Brock is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Isaac Brock; sisters, Bertie Stephens and Sara Moncrief and brothers, Huey Moncrief and Oliver Moncrief.

A graveside service for Ms. Brock will be conducted on Friday, June 7, 2013 at one o'clock in the afternoon at Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Billy Frasier officiating.
