Mr. Van Daniel Horace Barber, age 59 of Buchannan, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019. He was born on January 19, 1960 in Dallas, Georgia. He was the son of the late Jimmie P. Barber and Evelyn Cheatwood Barber Chandler (step-dad Carl Chandler).

Mr. Barber is survived by his daughter, Amy Rodgers (Kenneth); fiance', Sue Justice; and grandchildren, Victoria McBrayer (Haven Wiggins), Kailee Rodgers, Harley Burgess (Cody), Holley Willis (Xavier Gaure); great grandchildren, Ashlynn McBrayer, Madison Burgess, Anna Burgess, Mila Gaure, Arian Gaure; sisters, Norma Jean Barber Wilkes, Colline Barber Welchel (Larry), Melissa Barber Puckett (William); and brothers, Dennis Barber, James Barber, and Larry Barber. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Barber is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Malinda Barber & Thelma Barber Hulsey; and late wife, Debra J. Edwards.

Visitation services will be held Tuesday October 1, 2019 from 5 o'clock in the afternoon until 8 o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family respectfully requests that all floral arrangements be omitted and memorial contributions be  made to the funeral home to aid with final expenses.
