Mrs. Vader Lula Minton, age 92 of Cedartown passed away on June 16, 2006. She was born on October 5, 1913 in Fulton County.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Mamie Sargent; two sons, Horace Lamar Minton, Sr. and Joel Fred Minton, Sr.

Mrs. Minton is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Franklin Roberts of Cedartown; son, Jerry P. Minton of Sopchoppy, Florida. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, June 19th at 11:00AM at First Apostolic Church in Cedartown with Bro. Franklin Roberts and Pastor Gary Livingston officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery in Atlanta.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 17th from 7:00PM until 9:00PM and Sunday, June 18th from 7:00PM until 9:00PM at Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Andy Minton, Rick Minton, Tom Minton, Jason Reeves, DeWayne Carter, Darren Carter, Rod Loudermilk and Aaron Wilson.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Vader Lula Minton.
