Rev. Troy Oliver Easterwood, age 71, of Cedartown passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2006. He was born on February 5, 1935 in Fulton County.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Lillian Wisener Easterwood.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Cook Easterwood; step-daughter and son-in-law; Terry and Kip Williams; step-son, Rodney L. Pierce; sisters-in-law, Pat Guice and Grace Bridges; brother and sister-in-law, William and Susan Cook, brother-in-law, Ed Cook; grandchildren, Tracy Lewis and Bretta Sewell and great grandchildren, Sage Jackson and Raven Hill.

The funeral service for Rev. Troy Oliver Easterwood will be conducted on Thursday, March 23rd at 2:00PM in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Matthew, Rev. David Beck and Ms. Tracy Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery with Full Military Rites conducted by the American Legion Brewster–Cleveland Post 86 Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 22nd from 7:00PM until 9:00PM at Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Lewis Hicks, Rayford Dyer, Dexter Green, Lee Hicks, JR Forrister and Tommy Forrister.
