Mr. Tony Mitchell, age 49, of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011. He was born on June 7, 1962, in Canton, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mr. R. B. Mitchell and Mrs. Frances Louise Truett Erwin.

Mr. Mitchell is survived by, daughter, Heather Nicole Mitchell; step daughters, Jessica Johnson and Alinda Dawson; step sons, Jimmy Byrd and Daniel Cheatwood; sisters, Debbie Lynn Shaw, Michelle Ann Mitchell and Tammy Denise Carnes; brothers, Joel Cleveland Mitchell, Kim Bryan Mitchell, and four grandchildren.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Mitchell will be conducted on Monday, November 7, 2011 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. John Redding and Rev. Keith Powers officiating.

Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Mitchell will receive family and friends on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from six o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Daniel Cheatwood, Joe Redding, Tommy Myers, Jimmy Byrd, Keith Pyles and Keith Myers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Rosser, Jeff Couch and Joey Johnson.
