Mr. Tom Boaz Goss, age 85, passed away February 15, 2000. He was born January 7, 1915 in Calhoun, Georgia, the youngest son of Shaulty and Cora Lee Ray Goss.
Mr. Goss was a member of The First Baptist Church. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He was a past president and director of First Federal Savings & Loan of Cedartown.
He is preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Edith Carolyn Brooks Goss; his parents; brothers, Homer Goss, Ernest Goss, Robert (Bob) Goss, Arthur Goss, Joe Goss; sisters, Lois Chastain and Sally Gaines Smith.
Mr. Goss is survived by daughters, Shelby Jean Nichols (Terry), Laura Brooke Goss, Carol Lynn Stroup (Dennis) all of Cedartown; son, Tom Bradley Goss of Frisco, Texas. He is also survived by grandchildren, Joey Rice, Kim Rice Lo, Jason Rice, Pete Hutchings, Laurie Hutchings Brumby, Cody Nichols, Tommy Stroup, Jason Stroup, Jennifer Baldwin Gammage, and Tom Bradley (Bo) Goss; great-grandchildren, Logan Rice and Landon Rice.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. Tom Boaz Goss.
