Mr. Timothy Christopher Green, age 41, of Cedartown, passed away Saturday July 31, 2010. He was born on September 14, 1968 in Rome, Georgia to parents Bobby & Nelda Green.

Mr. Green is survived by his parents, Bobby & Nelda Shackelford Green; brother & sister-in-law, Lance & Shayne Green; niece, Maris Green; nephew, Levi Green; and special friend, Kim Stowe.

Mr. Tim Green is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl & Hazel Green and Charles & Evelyn Shackelford.

The funeral service for Mr. Tim Green will be conducted on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at Two o'clock in the afternoon at Southside Baptist Church in Cedartown with Dr. Roger Whorton and Rev. Joel Smith officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from One o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens with Rev. Todd Brown officiating at the graveside interment.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 2, 2010, from 6:00pm- 9:00pm at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Brad Shelton, Greg Hilyer, Shay Harrell, Derrick Owens, Wendell Rice, Jerry Collier and Horace Borders.

The family has requested that Flowers be omitted and that donations may be made in honor of Tim Green to Southside Baptist Church.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. Timothy Christopher Green.
