Thomas F. Snyder's Obituary
Mr. Thomas F. Snyder, age 56, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Monday, January 25, 2010. He was born May 23, 1953 in Mt. Holly, New Jersey.
Mr. Snyder was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, serving as Lieutenant in the Special Operations Forces, the Navy SEALs.
He was a former Polk County volunteer firefighter and a dispatcher at the 911 Center.
Mr. Snyder is survived by wife, Kathy Dugger Snyder; sons, Chris Snyder and Steven Snyder; grandson, Andy Snyder; brothers, Albert Snyder and David Snyder.
He is preceded in death by parents, David Snyder and Helen Lippincott Snyder; sister, Rebecca Debbit; brothers, Billy Snyder and Bobby Snyder.
In compliance with Mr. Snyder's wishes, he was cremated. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 30th, at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. Thomas F. Snyder.
