Mr. Thomas Ray Hogue, Jr., age 85, of Cedartown, GA passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012. He was born September 1, 1926 in Hale County, Alabama.

Mr. Hogue was a Navy veteran having served during World War II.

He is preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Florine Forrister Hogue; parents, Thomas Ray Hogue, Sr. and Trenna Georgia Urick Hogue; John Hogue.

Mr. Ray Hogue is survived by daughters, Trenna Morris, Jane Morgan; sons, Thomas Ray Hogue III, Wallace Hogue, James R. Hogue; sister, Hazel Hester. Ten grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service for Mr. Thomas Ray Hogue, Jr. will be conducted on Friday, August 10th, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Snyder officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the Brewster-Cleveland Post #86 Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 9th, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Jason O'Neal, Jason Hogue, John Bell, Carey "Moe" Statham. Honorary pallbearers are James Hogue, Dink Reeves, Tony Merritt.

The family has respectfully requested that flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Neighbor Center, P. O. Box 597, Cedartown, GA 30125.
