Mrs. Julia Theresa Davis McLendon, age 93 of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019. She was born on June 3, 1926 in Warrenton, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Mabel Meriwether Davis.

Mrs. McLendon is survived by her daughters, Kaye Hardy (Ray) and Margie Guthrie (Paul); sons, Jimmy McLendon (Nancy) and Joe McLendon (Renee); 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. McLendon is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Kerlin McLendon, Sr.; son, Kim McLendon; sister, Becky Britch; and brother, Jack Davis.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Julia Theresa Davis McLendon will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at four o'clock in the afternoon at First Baptist Church of Cedartown with Rev. Wayne Benefield, Mr. Barry Carr and Mr. Joe McLendon officiating.  Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. McLendon will receive family and friends on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from two o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at First Baptist Church of Cedartown.

The family has respectfully requested that flowers are to be omitted and memorial donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Cedartown, 101 N. College Street, Cedartown, GA 30125 or Heyman Hospice, 420 E. 2 ^nd Avenue, Rome, GA 30161.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Matt McLendon, Joe McLendon, Timothy Wyatt, Brandon Vance, Steve Guthrie, Blake Hardy and Kelly McLendon.
