Mr. Terry Kagle McDougal, age 71, of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Evergreen Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. He was born on August 2, 1940 in Piedmont, AL, the son of the late John A. McDougal and Kate Monahan McDougal.

Mr. McDougal is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jackie Holland McDougal; daughters, Tammy McDougal Nicholson of Centre, AL and Teresa McDougal Maynard of Flat Rock, NC; sister, Bobby June Tyree of Tampa, FL; brother, Doug McDougal of Cedar Bluff, AL. Also surviving are grandchildren, Nicole Gary of Troy, NC, Kate Abbott of Rome, GA, Levi Holland, Jonah Holland, both of Carrollton; great-grandchild, Austin Gary of Flat Rock, NC and step-sons, Stewart Holland and Clay Cain.

Mr. McDougal is preceded in death by his parents; great-grandson, Joseph Tevin Schwab and previous wife, Kay Hopper McDougal.

A memorial service for Mr. Terry McDougal will be conducted on Saturday, March 10, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Mr. Phil Tuck, Mr. Phillip Price, Mr. Glenn Frasier, and Ms. Tammy Nicholson officiating with Ms. Trista Gillespie, soloist.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 until the service hour at the funeral home.
