Mr. Terry Grant Collier, age 70 of Cedartown, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 23, 2017. He was born on April 8, 1947 in Rome, GA. He was the son of the late Mr. William Joe Collier and Mrs. Annie Powell Collier.
Mr. Collier was a veteran of the Vietnam War and an active member of Worldview Baptist Church.
Mr. Collier is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Sharon Worthington Collier; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn Collier Sanford (Jeff); son and daughter-in-law, Mark Collier (Tera); sister, Bonnie Brown (Henry); brothers, Joe Collier, Jerry Collier, and David Collier; grandchildren, Brandon Cheatwood, Bryson Cheatwood, Glavin Collier, Nate Collier, and Kaylan Sanford. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mr. Collier is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Gloria Wallace and Emily Byrd; and brother, Bobby Collier.
The arrangements for Mr. Terry Grant Collier will be conducted on Monday, September 25, 2017 at three o'clock in the afternoon at the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Barry McCollough, Rev. Jeff Pilgrim and Rev. Doyle Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Pilgrim and Mr. Jeff Sanford officiating. Full military rites will be conducted by the Brewster-Cleveland Post 86.
The family of Mr. Collier will receive family and friends on Monday, September 25, 2017 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Brandon Cheatwood, Bryson Cheatwood, Glavin Collier, Nate Collier, Jeff Sanford, and Mark Collier.
