Ms. Teresa Summerville Abney, age 71 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025.  She was born on November 1, 1953 in Cedartown, Georgia.  She was the daughter of the late Hubert Summerville and Irene Shaw Summerville Green.

Ms. Abney is survived by her daughter, Amanda Hyde (Lee); son, James Abney, Jr.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and brother, Randy Summerville.

Ms. Abney is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Victoria Binkley.

In keeping with her wishes, Ms. Abney was cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
