Mr. Taylor O'Brien Pratt, age 19, of 55 Knightwood Point, Acworth Georgia passed away Friday, December 31, 2004. He was born on April 14, 1985 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a student at the Marine Mechanics Institute of Orlando Florida. He loved fishing and hunting and he had a dream of one day working on the water.

He is survived by his mother Jane Minshew Pratt and his father John W. S. Pratt, Jr. His surviving sister is Jennifer Pratt. His surviving Maternal Grandparents are Harwell and Elizabeth Minshew of Cedartown. Mr. Pratt is survived by his Paternal Grandfather Mr. John W.S. Pratt, Sr. of Bradenton, Fl.

He is also survived by three aunts; Judy Minshew Doss of Jackson Mississippi, Christine Pratt Whitaker of Bradenton Florida, and Lorain Pratt Nelson of Jacksonville Florida along with one uncle Mr. Howard Adams Pratt of Bradenton Florida.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 2nd from 4 o'clock to 6 o'clock in the afternoon at the Gammage Funeral Home in Cedartown Georgia. The memorial service will be Monday January 3rd 2005 at 2 o'clock at the First Presbyterian Church of Marietta with Rev. Spencer Lundgaard and Rev. Keith Gunter officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are Todd Chauvin, Andrew Day, Matthew Johnson, Josh Neeley, Tom Whitaker, and Stewart Johnston.

The family has requested that flowers be omitted in lieu of contributions to The American Red Cross.
