Ms. Tara J. Ward Murphy, age 43, of Vista, California, formerly of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013. She was born on October 1, 1969 in Rome, GA.

Tara also known as Sissy, attended kindergarten through high school in Cedartown. After high school she relocated to San Diego where she met and married Jim Murphy. Tara worked in the banking industry for the last 20 years.

Ms. Murphy is survived by her mother and step-father, Leon and Lisa Roberson; daughters, Hannah and Haley Murphy; brothers, Scott Ward and Richey Ward and sister, Carmen Ward.

Ms. Murphy is preceded in death by her father, Doyle Ward and brother, Mark Ward.

A memorial service for Ms. Murphy will be conducted on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at three o'clock in the afternoon at the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Caldwell and Mr. Gary Martin officiating.

The family of Ms. Murphy will receive family and friends on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from two o'clock until the memorial service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
