Tammy Lee George Barnett, age 41, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away Friday, January 28, 2011. She was born August 18, 1969 in Cedartown, Georgia. She is the daughter of Ester Lee Winkles McRae and Del George, Sr.

She is preceded in death by mother, Ester Lee Winkles McRae; brother, Floyd Delmus George, Jr.; sisters, Tonya McRae & Tasha McRae; niece, Tatum McRae and grandparents, Agnes Sanders Winkles & Noah Winkles.

Mrs. Barnett is survived by husband, John Thomas Wayne Barnett; daughters and son-in-law, K.C. Marie Barnett and Jonie Luanna and Brian Pope; sister and brother-in-law, Jeannie Johnson and Ricky Barnett; grandchildren, Amberly Alexis Pope and Thomas Bralin Pope; and father, Del George, Sr. Many aunts, uncles, as well as a niece, Erica Barnett and a nephew, Phillip Barnett and several great nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Hulsey and Rev. Robert Vines officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Philip Barnett, Josh Weaver, Randy Jackson, Charles Helms, Clarence Calhoun, and Keith Davis will serve as pallbearers.
