Ms. Tammy Barnett Chastain, age 53, of Cedartown passed away Friday, December 5, 2014. She was born in Polk County on September 6, 1961 to the late Raymond Earl Barnett, Jr. and Linda Faye Crawford Barnett.

Ms. Chastain is preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Raymond Earl Barnett, Sr. & Ruby Estelle Welchel Barnett and J. W. Crawford & Annie Faye Swafford Crawford.

She is survived by her sons, Brandon Barnett, Dustin Chastain (Kimberly); siblings, Danny Barnett, Tara Barnett, Sandy Dobbs, Eric Barnett; sisters, Crystal Brooks, and Kay Hernandez; grandchild, Paige Rottler; step-brothers, Darrell Chastain, Wayne Chastain, Dennis Chastain, Pete Chastain, Rodney Chastain; and step mother, Peggy Barnett. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with her wishes, her body was cremated.
A Memorial Service for Ms. Tammy Barnett Chastain will be conducted on Monday, December 8, 2014 at 4 o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Eric Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family of Ms. Tammy Barnett Chastain will receive family and friends on Monday, December 8, 2014, from 2 o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour.
