Ms. Susan Marie Welchel, age 36, of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 in an out of town hospital. She was born in Floyd County on July 29, 1971 to parents, Mrs. Elsie Warren Welchel and the late Hershel Welchel.

Family members surviving are sons, Aaron Landrum and Ryan Welchel, mother, Elsie Welchel; sisters, Linda Robinson, Diane Jacobs, Nancy Collins, and Melissa Welchel; brothers, Jerry Wayne Welchel, David Welchel, and Chris Welchel. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She is preceded in death by her father.

The funeral service for Mrs. Susan Marie Welchel will be conducted on Friday, February 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 31, from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Ryan Welchel, Tony Landrum, Sam Cole, Jordan Collins, Rodney Robinson, Joseph Landrum, and David Morgan.
