Mr. Stanley Casey Davis, Sr., age 65, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022.  He was born on June 29, 1957 in Cedartown.

Stan was a loving and kind man, wonderful father and friend; he never met a stranger nor had an enemy.  If Stan wasn't working you could find him outside tending to his garden, farm, or fishing.  He loved to coach softball and adored his grand dogs.

Mr. Davis is survived by his loving wife, Lane Astin Davis; son, Stanley Casey "Case" Davis, Jr. (Carolyn); daughters, Ashley Michelle Davis and Cassidy Alane Davis (Logan Duke); honorary daughter, Amanda Badertscher; brother, Johnny Davis; and uncle, Pat Casey.

Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his birth father, Wallace Van Davis, Sr.; mother, Nancy Rose "Nan" Casey Davis; dad, John William "Bill" Davis;  brother, Wallace Van Davis, Jr.; and grandparents, Robert Franklin Casey, Sr. and Martha Elizabeth West Casey and John Horace Davis and Annie Mae Tillery Davis.

The funeral service for Mr. Stanley Casey Davis will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at four o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Mr. Greg Swafford officiating and Mr. Stan Davis, Jr. giving the eulogy.  Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Davis will receive family and friends on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Stan Davis, Jr., Logan Duke, Chad Swafford, Rodney Johnson, Ricky McKibben, and Jeff Tillery.  Honorary pallbearers will be Joy Owens, Rocky Tillery, Lamar Roberts and the SRD Distribution Team at Hon.
