Mr. Spencer R. Coleman, age 66, of Cedartown passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2010. He was born April 23, 1943 in Cedartown, the son of Sidney Richmond Coleman (deceased) and Nina Mae Coleman.

Mr. Coleman is preceded in death by his father, Sidney Richmond Coleman.

Mr. Spencer Coleman is survived by his wife, Teresa Studdards Coleman; mother, Nina Mae Tanner Coleman; daughters, Barbara Harris, Amy Davenport, Hope Coleman and Faith Coleman; sons, Neal Coleman, Daron Coleman, and Collin Coleman; sisters, Sandra Beck and Gail Gowens. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Nicholas Steven Harris, Andrea Paige Harris Griffin, Samuel Adair Harris, Coleman Augustus Harris, Spencer Daron Coleman II, Ammison Sidney Hatch, Linkin Bailey Whatley, JaKamron Ammons/Coleman and one great-grandchild, Lilly Madylin Griffin.

The funeral for Mr. Coleman will be conducted on Friday, April 9th at 2:00 p.m. at the Cedartown Church of God, with Rev. Jeff S. Morrow officiating. Mr. Coleman will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.

Interment will be in Lime Branch Cemetery. Pallbearers are Nick Harris, Sam Harris, Josh Tucker, Chris Tucker, Jeremy Beecham, and Wesley Beecham.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 8th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.
