Mrs. Shirley Mellott Smith, age 77, of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2013. She was born on August 30, 1936 in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Roy Robert and Virgie Wright Mellott.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, Charles Smith; son, Jimmy Bullington; sister, JoAnn Tasker; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Bullington and sister, Virginia May St. Jean.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Smith will be conducted on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Smith will receive family and friends on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Kenneth Stubbs, Donald Kelley, David Smith, Danny Smith, Chuck Wainer and Paul White. Honorary pallbearer will be J.W. Smith.
