Ms. Shirley Ann Phillips, age 61, of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2008. A life-long resident of Cedartown, she was a member of Worldview Baptist Church. Ms. Phillips was retired from Bojangles as manager of the early morning breakfast shift.

Ms. Phillips is preceded in death by parents, Herschel William Ayers and Willie J. Reddish Ayers; brothers, Eugene Talmadge Ayers and Burl Herschel Ayers.

Ms. Shirley Ann Phillips is survived by brother, Donald Edward Ayers.

The funeral service for Ms. Shirley Ann Phillips will be conducted on Thursday, November 20, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Conner and Rev. Kevin Patterson officiating. Interment to follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 19, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.
