Ms. Shirley Pierce Gosdin, age 73 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.  She was born on August 6, 1951 in Centre, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Alvin Pierce and Vera Bishop Countryman.

Ms. Gosdin is survived by her daughter, Mery Lieurance (Jimmy Langston); son, Larry Gosdin (Laura Corn); sisters, Mary Callahan, Loretta Pierce Rutledge and Rhonda Pierce Wells; brothers, Bobby Joe Pierce, Randy Pierce and Michael Pierce; grandchildren, CJ Lieurance, Holly Gosdin, Nakita Lieurance-Bullard (Brandon), Austin Alred (Ally), Tyler Gosdin (Brylan) and Jada Lieurance (Adam McGee); great-grandchildren, Mason and Makayla of Lexington, SC, Conner Barrett, Zander Barrett, Oaklan Gosdin and Aggie Bullard; nieces and nephews, Kitsy Pierce, Joey Pierce, Jonathon Hulsey, Danny Williams and Steve Williams. Several other extended family members also survive.

Ms. Gosdin is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Jean Callahan Williams; brother, Larry Paul Pierce; and grandparents Joseph Bishop and Lillie Bell Bishop.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Gosdin will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Corey Smith officiating.  Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Gosdin will receive family and friends on Thursday, April 10, 2025 from eleven o'clock in the morning until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Austin Alred, Tyler Gosdin, Brandon Bullard, Barry Langston, Adam McGee and Jimmy Langston. Honorary pallbearers will be Ms. Gosdin's great-grandchildren.
