Mrs. Shirley Blankenship Dunn, age 71, of Cedartown passed away on Monday, January 15, 2007. She was born on July 17, 1935 in Troup County.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Dunn to whom she was married for 48 years; son, Jeffrey Eugene Dunn; parents, John Walter Blankenship and Ollie Loretta Blankenship and sister, Alice Christine Blankenship Harris.

Mrs. Blankenship is survived by her daughters, Jennifer L. Dunn, Jean C. Brown, Judy C. Dunn and Julie D. Cox; son, Jack L. Dunn and brother, Jessie Blankenship. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 17th at 3:00p.m. in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 16th from 7:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at Gammage Funeral Home.
