Ms. Sherry Diane Corn Dempsey, age 66 of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014. She was born on September 26, 1947 in Rome, Georgia.

Ms. Dempsey is survived by her mother, Clara Bell Corn; sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Lisa Dempsey, Dwayne and Debbie Dempsey and Darrell and Melinda Dempsey; sisters, Faye Westmoreland, Goldie Baldwin, Evelyn Smith and Suzie Sanchez; brothers, David Corn, Charles Corn and Richard Corn; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Ms. Dempsey is preceded in death by her father, Walter Corn; husband, Ronald Dempsey and brother, Ray Corn.

A graveside service for Ms. Dempsey will be conducted on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at one o'clock in the afternoon at Sanders Cemetery with Rev. Robert Boatner officiating.

The family of Ms. Dempsey will receive family and friends on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The follow gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers; Kerry Eason, Barry Dowda, Tracey Westmoreland, Jamie Westmoreland, Richard Corn and Jarred Dempsey.
