Mrs. Sheila Ann Dyer Timms, age 65, of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. She was born on October 5, 1947 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Jimmy H. and Sarah Cleo Shiflett Dyer.

Mrs. Timms is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Coye Lee Timms; children, Melissa and Jeff Johnson, Lauren and Gregory Pettit and Richard "BeeBop" Timms and his significant other Donna Temple, whose commitment to this family will never be suppressed nor forgotten; sister, Becky Dyer Maxwell; aunt, Virginia Pope; brother, Richard Alan Dyer; grandchildren, Dustin and Heather Clark, Erika Johnson, Sarah Pettit and Jackson Pettit; great-grandchildren, Trantham Canania, Rachel Clark and Adrianna Morgan and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Timms is preceded in death by her parents and son, Brian Timms.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Timms will be conducted on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at four o'clock in the afternoon at Anna Kresge Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Rebecca Holmes, Rev. John Giglio and Rev. Nancy English officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Bower Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Timms will receive family and friends on Friday, January 11, 2013 from seven o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Chris Truett, Sr., Chris Truett, Jr., Lee Stansell, Michael Chadwick, Gary Chadwick, Randy Swafford, Dennis Blankenship, Willard Brannon and Butch Chadwick.
