Ms. Sharon Phyllis Forrister Parker, age 63, of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2011. She was born on February 18, 1947 in Cedartown; she is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Henry and Flora Mae Howell Forrister.

Ms. Parker is survived by two daughters, Regina Mae Hurley and Donna Lee Rampley; a son, Christopher Ray Parker; sisters, Louise Wester, Joanne McGreggor and Sue Cook; a brother, Jack Forrister; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Ms. Parker is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Henry and Flora Mae Howell Forrister; a daughter, Susan Jeanette Powell; a sister, Mae Swanney and brothers, Murrol Forrister and Frank Forrister.

Ms. Parker was cremated. A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at three o'clock in the afternoon at the Friendly Baptist Church with Rev. R.B. Hulsey and Rev. Trey Jones officiating.

Interment will follow in the Sanders Cemetery in Cedartown.
