Mr. Seals Leftwich Tanner, age 76, of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday,
January 20, 2018. He was born on February 27, 1941 in Cedartown, Georgia.
He was the son of the late Avery Carson and Chaudron Virginia Tanner.

Mr. Tanner is survived by his wife Maureen Wood Tanner; daughters, Christol Privett (Shane), Nicole Cliff (Allen); son, Carson Tanner (Dana); eight grandchildren, Hayden Privett, Avery Privett, Gracee Privett, Raegan Tanner, Reece Tanner, Rachel Tanner, Tanner Cliff and Gabriella Cliff; sisters, Hope Lanham and Gail Arp.

Mr. Tanner is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Billy Tanner.

The funeral service for Mr. Seals Tanner will be conducted on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 3:00 in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bud Davis, Rev. Larry Davis and Mr. Carson Tanner officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens. Full military rites will be conducted by Brewster Cleveland Post #86.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, from 1:00p.m. until 3:00p.m. at Gammage Funeral Home.

Hayden Privett, Avery Privett, Allen Cliff, Tanner Cliff, Shane Privett, and Reece Tanner will serve as Pallbearers.
