Mr. Seals Edward "Ed" Jarrell, age 86, of Polk County, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013. He was born on November 29, 1926 in Cedartown, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mr. Seab Jarrell and Mrs. Willie Mae Jarrell

Mr. Jarrell is survived by his sons, Randy E. Jarrell and Danny R. Jarrell; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren and three sisters Mary Pyles, Allyne Skinner and Alta Mae Henry.

Mr. Jarrell is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Amy Lou Jarrell; daughter, Linda G. Ferguson; granddaughters, Amy Lynn Ferguson Goss and April Ferguson Ayers; and brothers, Ernest and Ralph Jarrell.

The funeral service for Mr. Seals Edward "Ed" Jarrell will be held on Tuesday January 8, 2013 at 2:00 in the afternoon in the chapel of Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Livingston officiating.

Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery. Full Military Rites will be conducted by Brewster Cleveland Post 86 American Legion Honor Guard.

The family will receive family and friends on Monday January 7, 2013 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following men will serve as pallbearers: Thomas Ledbetter, Joel Ledbetter, James Rogers, James Gibson, Buddy Robbins, and Greg Livingston.

Flowers are being accepted, however, memorial contributions may be made to First Apostolic Church, 3213 Cave Spring Rd., S.W., Rome Ga. 30161
