Mrs. Sara Elizabeth (Sadie)Watts Minshew, age 92, of Cedartown, passed away on Monday February 3, 2020 after an extended illness.  Elizabeth was born on August 29, 1927 in Cedartown.  She was the daughter of the late James Sidney and Dovie Lee Watts.

Mrs. Minshew is survived by her daughter, Jane Minshew Pratt (John); granddaughters, Jamie Doss McDonnell (David), Lyn Doss Davis (Jim), and Jennifer Pratt Johnson (Matthew); great-grandchildren, Chloe, Andrew and Brian McDonnell, Lee Day, Baylor and Sadie Jane Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Minshew is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harwell G. Minshew; daughter, Judy Minshew Doss; grandson, Taylor O'Brien Pratt; great grandson, Adam Day; and siblings, Gertrude, Alma, Mary, Lena, Hoke, Arthur, Willard, Myrtle, Glenn, Evelyn, and James, Jr.

A graveside service for Mrs. Sara Elizabeth (Sadie) Watts Minshew will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at eleven o'clock in the morning at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Joe Brice officiating.
