Mrs. Sara Campbell Hillman, age 87 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. She was born on March 17, 1924 in Polk County; she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Rubin and Sara Williams Campbell.
Mrs. Hillman worked as a school administrator for many years in Warren, Michigan for a private church school.
Mrs. Hillman is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Mr. Wiley C. Hillman; sister, Martha McCurry and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mrs. Hillman is preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
The funeral for Mrs. Hillman will be conducted on Friday, June 10, 2011 at eleven o'clock in the morning at the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Dabbs officiating.
Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Hillman will receive family and friends on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The family is accepting flowers; however memorial contributions made be made to Antioch Baptist Church, 3923 Antioch Road, Cedartown, Georgia 30125.
The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers; Ronnie Campbell, Jay Campbell, Tony Williamon, Duwayne Prather, James McCurry, Keith Campbell, Brad Yarborough and Scotty Campbell.
