Ms. Sara Lou Folsom, age 76, of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011. She was born in Rock Run, Alabama on March 23, 1934 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward and Flora Mobley Tanner.
Ms. Folsom was a seamstress for Arrow for many years.
Ms. Folsom is survived by daughters, Angela Jenkins, Peggy Miller and Samantha Barrett; sisters, Lilly Swanson and Gladys Clemmons; brother, David Tanner; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Ms. Folsom is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward and Flora Mobley Tanner; five sisters and two brothers.
The funeral arrangements for Ms. Folsom will be conducted on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Trawick officiating.
Interment will follow in the Rock Run Cemetery in Alabama.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from seven o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen have been asked to serve as pallbearers; Chane Miller, Jessie Jones, Brett Jones, Andrew Jones, Mark Jenkins, Mike Dyer, Bradley Miller and Hunter Barrett.
