Mrs. Sara Lou Atkins Pursley, age 85 of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. She was born on March 5, 1931 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late James Cornelious "Buddy" and Bessie Mae McKibben Atkins.

Mrs. Pursley is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Ann Nation and Major Battle and nephew, Ron Mauseth.

Mrs. Pursley is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Willard Pursley.

In keeping with Mrs. Pursley's wishes' she was cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
